I know you're always on the night shift

He'd been hoping to go home about an hour ago but there's a troublesome Subaru that demands extra attention. The task isn't particularly complicated, just fiddly and requiring a part that he'd called for this morning but that's only arrived just now. So Adam stays behind at West's, promising to lock up when he's done. After firing off a text that says he'll be home late, he goes back to the dock with the Subaru and props the hood up. 

The work is boring and not in a way that at least gives Adam the chance for his mind to wander. 

Sighing, he gets to work.
